Doing a little searching, I found a few helpful websites! Apparently, there is a website for Niigata JETs. I had found it before, but the address was gone, so I assumed that the website had been discontinued, but I found it!

They even have detailed information for Murakami! So, I'll be checking that out more, and I think I will contact some of the people who are there once I figure out where their e-mail addresses are.

I also looked into the weather in Niigata on the weather.com website. It doesn't look too bad - in my opinion. I like snow, and while I'm a little terrified that Niigata is known for its snow (its nickname is Yuki-guni or in English, Snow Country), I still think that I would like living in a place with lots of snow.

The weather in the summer doesn't look that bad either. I'll just have to ask people who live there to know for sure.
Oh well, I'm still waiting for information from my contracting agency, but I'll let you know when I know more!
